About us

Helping people keep their goals since 2008.

The challenge we all face is turning thoughts and dreams into something real. Lifetick began as a simple, elegant way to do that, and it still is.

Who we support

The HALO Trust

For over thirty years The HALO Trust has been saving lives and helping war-torn communities recover, by making their land safe.

A HALO Trust project in Cambodia

Our co-founder and CEO, Shane Maloney, has been fortunate to travel to many remote places around the world. In that time, people from far and wide have touched his heart. One was a chance meeting in 2006 with a local in Cambodia who worked for the HALO Trust.

When conflict ends, land is all too often littered with landmines and other dangerous explosives. Families live in fear and poverty. They can’t plant crops or graze cattle, and day-to-day activities like getting to school and fetching water are fraught with risk. True peace doesn’t come until their land is safe.

The HALO Trust recruits and trains local men and women to clear landmines in their own communities. With their earnings they can rebuild their lives. Some buy livestock, others plant crops or even start a business. They are once again in control of their own destiny.

Lifetick humbly contributes money from every Lifetick subscription, through an annual donation to The HALO Trust. We’ve done this since we first began and will continue for as long as there is a need.
