Common questions

What is an employee check-in?

A few short questions each person answers on a schedule, usually weekly: how the week went, what got in the way and what comes next. It takes two minutes and gives a manager a reason to reply.

How often should we run check-ins?

Weekly suits most small teams. Fortnightly or monthly works for steadier work, and each group can have its own rhythm.

Can people answer on their phone?

Yes. Answer on the iPhone app or the web, with the same account.

Is this a performance review tool?

No. There are no ratings. Check-ins are a quick weekly habit that leads to better one-on-ones.

How much does it cost?

Free for two weeks with no card, then $4 a person each month.
