Personal, team and school accounts
A personal account is for your own goals. A team or school account adds check-ins and one-on-ones for the people you look after. One login can move from one to the other.
Every Lifetick login is one account. What changes is whether that account stands on its own or belongs to an organisation.
Personal accounts
A personal account is just for you: goals, tasks, dreams, a journal, trackers and reports. You choose Just me when you sign up.
- Free keeps two goals going at a time.
- Premium is $29 a year on the web, or a subscription in the iPhone app. It adds unlimited goals, sub-tasks, trackers and money goals.
You can share a single goal with a friend or add a supporter without anyone needing a team account.
Team accounts
A team account is for a business or a coach and the people they look after. You choose My team, clients or school when you sign up, then Business or Coaching. It's free for 14 days, then the organisation pays for everyone.
On top of everyone's own goals it adds check-ins, one-on-ones, groups and reports across the team. People have one of three roles: the owner (an admin), managers, and team members. In a coaching account the words are coach and client.
Everyone in the organisation gets the full Lifetick, with no goal limit, while the organisation's plan is active. Team members don't pay for anything themselves.
School accounts
A school account is a team account set up with School. It works the same way, with school words: teachers and students, reflections instead of check-ins, and mentoring meetings instead of one-on-ones. An admin can change these words, for example to mentor, in Branding and words.
Being in both
You don't need two logins.
- Owners and managers have their own goals too. They're under My Lifetick in the menu, and stay private unless you share them.
- A personal account can join an organisation. Open the invite link and sign in. Your goals and journal come with you, and your manager or teacher can see them, except anything marked Private.
- A paid personal plan is paused while you're in. On the web, it stops with the days you have left and picks up again if you leave. An App Store subscription can't be paused for you: turn it off in iPhone Settings, under your name and Subscriptions.
- One organisation at a time. An account that already belongs to another organisation can't join a second one. Contact [email protected] if it should move.
