Who can see your answers
Your check-in answers go to your own manager. Admins can see them on your page too. Other team members never see them.
A check-in is a conversation between you and your manager. Here is who sees what you send.
Who reads your answers
- Your manager. They read every answer you send, including your 1 to 5 answers, and can reply. When you answer on the web, the page says who sees it, such as Dana sees your answers.
- Admins at your organisation. Owners and admins can open any team member's page in Lifetick, and your sent check-ins show on its Activity tab.
- Not other team members. People you work with never see your answers.
If you're a manager answering your owner's check-in, your answers go to the organisation's admins.
What your manager sees with them
- Your 1 to 5 answers make a mood line on your page. Two low answers in a row are flagged to them.
- An answer since your last one-on-one can be suggested for its agenda.
- Their reply is a message to you, so it's in Messages too.
What they don't see
- A draft. Answers you save for later, or close on iPhone without sending, stay with you until you send them. Your manager only sees that you've started.
- Your journal notes and trackers. They stay private to you.
- Private goals and dreams. Tick Private on a goal or dream to keep it out of their view. See Keep a goal private.
To see the full list for your account, go to your Dashboard and choose What your manager can see on the card at the top.
For owners
On the Check-ins page under your organisation's name, owners see how many people answered each check-in, how many answers were low and how many got a reply, by manager. That page shows numbers, not answers.
In a school account, reflections go to the student's teacher. In a coaching account, answers go to the client's coach.
